ReMARKable is to be noticeable,
unique and wonderful.
Wayne is a wood artist. He makes furniture that is surprising, uncommon and sometimes even odd. Each piece, although similar in function is finished uniquely.
This philosophy is derived from his special relationship with his only son Mark who himself was quite remarkable (pun intended)

Wayne considers his work as primarily therapeutic, but finally as art.
Our Story

Born and raised in Montreal. Moved to Toronto in 1987, where we raised our three children. Our youngest was born with a degenerative neurological disorder. During those years our work was divided between graphic design and charity work for the homeless.
Following that time we moved to Grey County Ontario where we built an art studio in me

Following that time we moved to Grey County Ontario where we built an art studio in memory of the passing of our special child.
Recently we followed our daughters and grandchildren to the Province of New Brunswick and have settled in Shediac River.

This is the very essence of Linda’s work, finding the discarded and forgotten items and redeeming their purpose and value. Sometimes the redemption goes beyond recovering original value, to reinventing, finding new purpose, which exceeds its original design. It can be using found stained glass and designing and creating it into a beautiful work of art or turning a broken piece of furniture and giving it a second chance.
